Student Parking Information
McKinney High School Student Parking Information
Parking at McKinney High School is a privilege, not a right. Parking privileges may be revoked at any time during the school year for failure to follow expectations outlined in the MISD and MHS Student Code of Conduct.
Upon completion of the Google Form and MySchoolBucks payment, please go to F203 (Mr. Boyd’s office) to pick up your parking permit sticker.
Important:
Students with outstanding fees will not be allowed to purchase or receive a parking permit.
Students are responsible for reading and understanding the following information before purchasing a parking permit.
STEP 1: Choose Your Parking Permit Type
A new permit must be purchased each school year. Permits do not carry over.
Senior Reserved Parking – $155/year for Seniors only. Pick up in C101 (Mrs. Wood).
General Student Parking – $75/year. Pick up in F203 (Mr. Boyd).
General Student Parking (Spring Only) – $40 Applies to permits purchased after January 1, 2026.
STEP 2: Complete the Permit Process
Complete the Google Form.
Submit payment through MySchoolBucks.
Bring your receipt to F203 (Mr. Boyd’s office) to pick up your parking sticker.
No permit stickers will be issued to students with unpaid fees.
STEP 3: Properly Display Your Permit
Only vehicles with a current MHS parking sticker may park on campus.
Stickers must be permanently affixed (not taped) to the lower passenger-side windshield.
Vehicles without a valid sticker may be ticketed, booted ($60 fine), or towed at the student’s expense.
STEP 4: Park in the Correct Location
Student Parking:
General Parking is in the south lot across from Towne Lake (Graves Street/Wilson Creek Parkway).
Do not park in any painted “Senior Reserved” space unless you purchased that specific permit.
Note: During the first semester, only the south lot is available. The east lot (by the natatorium/football field) will open in the second semester.
Staff Parking:
Do not park in staff parking areas between 6:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
The north lots (near the tennis courts and softball field) and the northwest lot (off Graves Street) are staff and bus only.
STEP 5: Follow Parking Rules to Avoid Consequences
