Robert Quach

House Principal | McKinney High School | McKinney ISD

Robert Quach serves as a House Principal at McKinney High School and brings more than 20 years of experience in public education. With 13 years of campus leadership at both the middle and high school levels in Frisco and Garland ISDs, he is widely recognized for his commitment to student success, staff development, and building strong, inclusive school communities.

Throughout his career, Quach has led campus initiatives supporting Special Education, English Learners, and Section 504 students. He has extensive experience coordinating local, state, and national assessments and has served as principal for both middle and high school summer school programs.

Quach began his career in Garland ISD as a mathematics teacher at South Garland High School and later at the Classical Center at Brandenburg Middle School. His work in the classroom earned him the Texas PTA Lifetime Membership Award, Garland ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year, and multiple Employee of the Year honors.

After seven years in the classroom, Quach transitioned into campus leadership, serving in administrative roles at Austin Academy for Excellence, North Garland High School, Naaman Forest High School, Sachse High School, and Frisco High School. He joined the McKinney High School leadership team in 2022.

Quach holds degrees from Southern Methodist University, the University of Kansas, and Texas A&M University–Commerce and maintains Texas certifications in Superintendent, Principal, Mathematics, Special Education, English as a Second Language, and Gifted/Talented education.

In addition to his campus role, Quach serves on district committees and represents Region 10C as a Board Member for the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals. He was named the 2025 TASSP Region 10 Assistant Principal of the Year and a 2025 Texas TASSP High School Assistant Principal of the Year finalist. He was also honored as the 2025 School Administrator of the Year by the Texas Association of Journalism Educators.
