How can I purchase a yearbook?

The 2025-2026 edition of The Lion Yearbook will go on sale starting July 15, 2025 at www.yearbookforever.com

Yearbooks will start at $60 and will gradually increase in price as the year goes on. By Dec. 1, the price will raise to $85. Online sales will STOP on May 1st. The price will increase to $100, and yearbooks can only be sold during yearbook pickup. 

We do SELL OUT every year. Don’t wait to purchase yours!

When will they arrive?

Yearbooks arrive in May and distribution information will be released in May at school and on our instragram @thelionyearbookmhs 

School Picture Information:

CADY is the official portrait photographer for McKinney High School. 

Seniors:

Seniors will have many opportunities for their formal portraits. You MUST take a cap and gown photo with CADY Studios to be included in the yearbook. 

Yearbook ONLY sessions are FREE. 

Summer portrait sessions are available to book now (https://home.cady.com/) at the CADY studio and at MHS. 

The summer session at MHS is August 1, 2025 with appointments from 9am-6pm. You must schedule an appointment to be photographed.

“Last Call” senior portraits will be on campus in October. More information will be sent out later this fall about last call senior portrait days. Appointments still must be scheduled.

9th-11th Graders:

Picture days for 9-11 graders will be on August 8 & 9 at schedule pick-up and on the first three days of school, August 12-14. Students will use their ID picture as their yearbook picture.

A retake day will be held in September. Please be on the lookout for information here or on our instagram page @thelionyearbookmhs

Senior Yearbook Tributes 

Senior yearbook tribute sales will open on July 15. You can order a senior tribute online at www.yearbookforever.com. 

The DEADLINE to purchase a senior tribute is October 31, 2025.
