ARRIVAL: 7:40am – 8:10am
Students may arrive as early as 7:40am.
For safety and security reasons, never drop off your child unattended on campus.
Parents needing to enter the building during the morning must enter through the front door (door #1) and sign in at the office. Staff will be diligently monitoring to ensure visitors enter the building at the designated door.
We have two designated morning drop-off areas. The west side doors are for bus riders only. We ask that all walk-ups and car riders enter through the front door.
If you choose to park and walk your child to the front door, please park in the west parking lot and use the crosswalk. The playground parking lot is designated for staff parking only.
Malvern Staff and student safety patrol will begin assisting children out of their cars at 7:40am.
Breakfast is available to all students at no cost through our Breakfast in the Classroom program. Students may grab breakfast in the hall on their way to class 7:40 - 8:05am.
Bike riders should place their bikes in the bike racks, standing bikes and scooters up, to allow plenty of room for everyone else.
Students should not ride bikes and/or scooters while on school property.
Students will proceed to their grade-level classroom upon arrival.
Announcements will begin promptly at 8:05am.
Parents should bring their children to the front office to receive a tardy slip when arriving after the 8:10am bell. Students are considered tardy if they are not inside their classrooms at 8:10am.
Car riders: this is a cell phone free zone and students should gather backpacks, water bottles, etc. and prepare to exit quickly.
DISMISSAL AT 3:20pm
Please do not park in the fire lanes on the west side of the school. This area is reserved for buses and daycare transportation only.
If your regular dismissal plans change please complete this form. Students will not be called from class between 2:45pm – 3:20pm for early dismissal unless there is an emergency.
If after-school care is needed for your child, please contact Club 360 at 469-302-2300.
CAR RIDERS
The cafeteria is our designated area for car rider students.
All car riders will be escorted to the cafeteria and dismissed at 3:20 pm.
Parents should stay in their car and have their carpool number hanging from the rearview mirror at all times.
Students will only be released to cars with carpool numbers. If you forget yours, please go to the front office to retrieve your children. (New cards and card colors will be given out each year).
Once you have collected all your car riders, you may carefully follow the cars out of the driveway onto Park Central Dr.
WALK AWAY AND BIKE RIDERS
Students will be escorted and dismissed from the gym.
Students should leave school premises using the crosswalk to cross the street at the top of the hill.
Students using bikes or scooters should walk them when on school property, on sidewalks, and when going through the crosswalk.
DAYCARE VANS/BUSSES
The fire lanes on the west side of the school are reserved for buses and daycare transportation only.
CLUB 360
Students are escorted to the gym by 3:20 pm.
Students will be connected with Club 360 staff.
Parents will refer to Club 360 for dismissal
WALK UP
Car Rider pickup is strongly encouraged and goes very fast after the first few weeks!
Parents may park in the west parking lot and walk up to be reunited with their students.
Dismissal is from the BACK of the school on the North/west side, behind the daycare playground at door number 5.
Students will only be released to parents with carpool numbers. If you forget yours, please go to the front office to retrieve your children. (New cards and card colors will be given out each year).
Once you have collected all your students, you may carefully return to your car in the parking lot.
