Read Across America Author Visit

Frazier Elementary is celebrating Read Across America with author and artist Jonathan Miller on March 2, 2026.

About the Visit

Mr. Miller is the creator of the popular children’s book series, The Adventures of Sammy the Wonder Dachshund. He is known for his incredible "paper-sculpture" illustrations. Each image is made by hand-layering hundreds of pieces of construction paper and cardstock, a process that can take up to 30 hours for a single page!

Student Presentation Times

• 4th and 5th Grade: 12:00 PM – 12:45 PM

• Kindergarten and 1st Grade: 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM

• 2nd and 3rd Grade: 2:00 PM – 2:45 PM

Book Signings and Orders

Mr. Miller will be signing books for students on the day of his visit.

Order Form Details

• Printed order forms will be sent home with students on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026.

• You can also download and print a copy of the order form.

Payment Instructions: Please return the order form and payment to the school on or before 8:10 AM on Monday, March 2, 2026.

• Checks: Please make payable to Underdog Endeavor Productions.

• Cash: Please provide the exact amount only, as payments are handed directly to the author’s team. Frazier Elementary is unable to make change for cash payments.

Attention Master Builders!

We have some exciting news! Family LEGO Build Night has been rescheduled and we can't wait to see you there.

When: Thursday, March 5

LEGO Kit Pick-Up Time: 5:15-5:45 PM

Event Time: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Location: Frazier Cafeteria

Arrive early to pick-up your pre-purchased LEGO kit. Doors will open at 5:15pm so we can begin building promptly at 6:00 PM.

Who: Exclusively for families who pre-purchased a LEGO kit by the December deadline.
