Head Theatre Director
Keegan Arnold is the Head Theatre Director at McKinney North High School, where he leads the Drama Dawg Department. He is a graduate of the University of North Texas College of Visual Arts and Design. A DFW-based actor, director, and theatre educator, Keegan is passionate about creating collaborative theatre experiences that help students grow both onstage and off.
Under his direction, McKinney North Theatre has earned recognition at the state and national level. The program has had a production featured on the Main Stage at the Texas Thespian Festival for three consecutive years, including Noises Off in 2025. In 2025, Suite Surrender was also selected for the National Thespian Festival Main Stage in Indiana. In 2026, She Kills Monsters advanced to the UIL Regional competition. As an actor, Keegan has appeared in Annie, The SpongeBob SquarePants Musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Rabbit Hole, and Proof. He has also worked as a puppeteer at Jurassic World.

Assistant Theatre Director
Elizabeth Wright serves as the Assistant Theatre Director at McKinney North High School, bringing eight years of Fine Arts educational experience to the Drama Dawg department. She is deeply committed to empowering students through theatre, using the stage as a medium to foster confidence, critical thinking, and empathy in young adults.
During her tenure at McKinney North, Mrs. Wright has helped guide the department to remarkable achievements. Highlights include leading the cast and crew of Suite Surrender to the national festival stage in 2025, qualifying for the state festival across three consecutive productions (Don't Dress for Dinner, Suite Surrender, and Noises Off), and advancing the UIL One-Act Play, She Kills Monsters, to the Regional level.
Mrs. Wright holds a Bachelor of Music from her beloved alma mater, The University of Texas at Austin. Beyond the classroom and rehearsal hall, she enjoys attending live music performances and traveling the world with her husband, Dylan.
