CMS Orchestra
Program Information
Opening in 2008, the Cockrill MS orchestra has a long tradition of musical excellence. No musical experience is necessary, as we have beginner classes in violin, viola, cello, and bass that take students from the first steps of holding an instrument all the way to high school readiness.
The Cockrill Orchestras regularly earn top ratings at UIL and local music festivals. Over the past 11 years, over 30 Cockrill Orchestras have earned Sweepstakes at UIL! Our students work hard, love to perform, and are an amazing part of the overall school culture at CMS.
