Program Information
Welcome to Cockrill Choir! Choir is much more than learning songs and performing on stage. Students develop confidence, teamwork, responsibility, self-discipline, perseverance, and, of course, musicianship. Most importantly, we want choir to be a place where students feel connected, challenged, supported, and proud of what we accomplish together.

Mrs. Seamans has been the head choir director at Cockrill Middle School for 17 years and is in her 24th year of teaching choir. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Arkansas Tech University and has spent her career sharing her love of music and choral singing with students in Texas.

This is Mr. Henifin’s 2nd at Cockrill and 3rd year teaching choir in Mckinney. He loves musical theatre and has performed in over thirty stage productions! He travels and performs with a professional chorus, sings in and guest directs a local church choir, and competes with his barbershop quartet.
Calendar & Events
Audition Information
Students may audition for a varsity-level ensemble in April; however, an audition is not required to participate in choir. The choir directors will share audition dates, requirements, and materials with students as the audition period approaches.
