2026-27 Boys Golf Tryouts

All potential golfers will play 9 holes each day. (2 Day Tryout) Dates: July 29th & 30th @ 9 am at Oak Hollow Golf Course $20 Fee covers golf and range balls to warm up. All golfers will walk the golf course; golf carts will not be permitted. They can bring their own pull cart. Golfers will need to wear proper golf attire. Golfers will be responsible for bringing their own snacks and water. Golfers will have the opportunity throughout the year to move up or down in position based on how they play. To be considered for placement in the MHS Golf Program. Scores Player conducted Player interviews with Coaches Coaches will have the final decision on who is in the program. ALL Players MUST be District Compliant before Tryouts. **RECOMMEND PLAYERS MUST HAVE PREVIOUS GOLF EXPERIENCE**

If a golfer is unable to attend tryouts and has played in AJGA, TJGT, NTJPGA or another junior golf organization can send their scores to their coach, that will make up for the tryout day. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Senior JD Taylor advances to UIL Regional Tournament

Senior JD Taylor shot a combined 147 over the two-day District 6-6A tournament, clinching a spot in the UIL Region I Tournament

JD will compete in the UIL Region I tournament on April 13-14 at Tangle Ridge Golf Course in Grand Prairie.
