McKinney, Texas – The McKinney ISD Board of Trustees named new officers at their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 21. Bobby Amick was named president, Curtis Rippee was named vice-president and Stephanie O’Dell was named secretary.

Amy Dankel served as board president over the past two years. “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the time I’ve served as president of the McKinney ISD Board of Trustees,” Dankel said. “I’m proud of our efforts in hiring an excellent superintendent to lead our district, and I’m equally pleased that we were able to move forward with much-needed capital projects due to the passage of the 2016 bond while still being able to cut taxes. I look forward to supporting the new slate of officers and continuing to serve as an active board member.”

Amick’s formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University, and a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude from Baylor.
