McKinney, Texas — In McKinney ISD’s continuing effort to offer students comparatively low-cost test preparation opportunities for college entrance exams, the district will host a ZAPS ACT preparation seminar on June 3.

Already this year, the district has offered two SAT prep seminars and an ACT session. Now students have another chance to take additional steps in getting ready for the ACT:

ZAPS ACT Test Prep Seminar
Presented by Doorway to College Foundation
McKinney ISD Central Administration
1 Duvall St., McKinney, TX 75069
Central Board Room
Monday, June 3, 2019
9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Price: $64

(New for 2019—All students receive D2CF’s full length, online ACT Practice Test with seminar registration.)

Presented by Doorway to College Foundation (D2CF), the seminar offers professional test preparation for $64—a cost that has been discounted by ZAPS and is substantially lower than some of the other test prep offerings available on the market.

According to ZAPS, in an independent study involving 576 students who took the ACT before and after attending a ZAPS ACT seminar, more than 84 percent of students increased their ACT score.

In the five-hour ACT seminar, students will—
—learn tips to improve in all sub-tests
—practice strategies to eliminate wrong choices
—take short practice tests that mirror the real test experience
—reduce test anxiety and gain confidence
—receive extensive materials for home practice
—and much more!

Reserve a space for your student: Register here  or call 877-927-8378 for assistance. (Please note that this class has a 45 student capacity.)

Students should bring two pencils and a calculator to the seminar.

Full-day seminars include a 30 to 45 minute lunch break; students are responsible for their own lunches.

For more information on the test prep seminar, contact Marita Cleaver at [email protected].
