MISD Board of Trustees Calls for May Election with Four Ballot Items that Address Facilities, Technology and Funding
At their January 2021 meeting, the McKinney ISD Board of Trustees called for an election in May that will include four ballot items: an Attendance Credit Election, a Voter Approval Tax Rate Election, a $245 million school bond election and a $30 million technology bond program.

For the fourth consecutive year, the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada has awarded McKinney ISD the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, the highest honor they bestow on an organization in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting.
