McKinney, Texas – McKinney ISD will hold a Fall Community Resource Night on Tuesday, Oct. 5, to connect MISD families with community resources to help improve and sustain the quality of life for students and their families.

Life happens to everyone in some form or another, and we never know when it will happen to us. Whether or not you currently have a need, it is beneficial to know who the local resources are to be able to help a family when life’s challenges happen. McKinney has been fortunate to have many agencies that help support families in a variety of ways.

The Fall Community Resource Night will have free food and door prizes and will include agencies that offer the following: food box giveaways, free COVID-19 vaccinations, free health screenings, rent and utility assistance, teen parent support, early childhood resources, domestic violence support, grief and counseling support, after-school youth services, mental and behavioral health support, English language learner support, affordable health insurance resources and employment opportunities.
