MISD Stakeholder Input on Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan (ESSER III)

McKinney, Texas — McKinney ISD (MISD) will apply for the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER Ill) grant from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) based on funds received from the American Rescue Plan (ARP). The total amount of funding McKinney ISD is eligible for is approx. $16.5 million. TEA will release 2/3 of these funds, approx. $11.0 million, following completion of the required application and submittal of a Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan. The remaining 1/3 of the funds, $5.5 million, are scheduled for release pending Federal Agency approval.

MISD is seeking input from stakeholders across the district to comment on our Return to In-Person Instruction & Continuity of Services Plan. Your feedback and input are critical to our plan formulation.
