Employees of McKinney ISD's food service provider Aramark prepare a Grab & Go Meal for pickup. Since mid-March the MISD Grab & Go Meals program has provided some 290,000 free meals to McKinney children. The start of school will bring some changes to the program.

McKinney, Texas – McKinney ISD’s Grab and Go Meals program, which has provided 290,000 free meals to McKinney children since mid-March, will undergo important changes that parents who use the service will want to note during the first three weeks of MISD virtual learning.

During the period of Aug. 13–Sept. 2, Grab and Go breakfast and lunch will be available to all MISD students from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Monday–Friday. Each meal pickup will provide that day’s lunch and breakfast for the following day.

Students will be charged according to their meal plan classification of Free, Reduced or Paid. This change to the Grab and Go program comes in response to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s requirement that districts implement their normal meal payment program once school begins.

MISD’s food service provider Aramark encourages households on paid or reduced lunch plans to use https://www.myschoolbucks.com/ to streamline meal pick up service. MISD’s charge policy will be in effect during Grab and Go Meal service.

Students (or parents picking up for students) must provide an MISD student ID number to receive breakfast and lunch during meal pickup.

Grab and Go Meals will be offered at the following campuses, and students may pick up their meals at the most convenient location.

Burks Elementary: 1801 Hill St. McKinney, TX 75069 – Pick up on west side drive.
Finch Elementary: 1205 S. Tennessee St. McKinney, TX 75069 – Pick up on north side drive.
Malvern Elementary: 1100 Eldorado Pkwy. McKinney, TX 75069
McNeil Elementary: 3650 Hardin Blvd. McKinney, TX 75070

Vega Elementary: 2511 Cattleman Dr. McKinney, TX 75072

Please note this plan is in effect only during the three week virtual learning period that spans August 13–September 2, and more information is to come regarding Grab and Go Meals after September 2.

Malvern Elementary: 1100 Eldorado Pkwy. McKinney, TX 75069
McNeil Elementary: 3650 Hardin Blvd. McKinney, TX 75070
Vega Elementary: 2511 Cattleman Dr. McKinney, TX 75072
Webb Elementary: 810 E. Louisiana St. McKinney, TX 75069
