COVID Testing at MISD Stadium for MISD Staff, Students and their Families
McKinney, Texas — McKinney ISD has partnered with GeneIQ to provide COVID testing for MISD staff and students and the families of MISD staff and students. GeneIQ is an approved vaccinator in the state of Texas and provides vaccination services in accordance with state and CDC guidelines. GeneIQ is also a molecular diagnostics laboratory that provides PCR COVID-19 testing and collection of these tests.
Testing will be available Monday – Thursday beginning October 25 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. at the north end of MISD Stadium in the parking lot. This is subject to change, dependent upon the number of people using the service. If you have insurance, your insurance will be billed for the test. Otherwise, GeneIQ will bill it to the Cares Act, so there is no out of pocket expense.
Testing is by appointment only. There will be two lines when you arrive; one for the community and one for MISD staff and students. You will remain in your vehicle during testing.
