MISD Pre-K and Head Start pre-registration are just around the corner! The Head Start online application for new students opened on March 4th, and online applications for Pre-Kindergarten take place from April 1 – June 7. Learn more
Camp Descriptions
McKinney ISD is excited to offer summer enrichment camps, conducted by MISD teachers for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. A variety of fun and engaging camps will be offered for 5 weeks, June 3, 2024 – July 12, 2024. You do not have to be a resident of McKinney or a student in McKinney ISD to attend camps.

Space Camp
The sky is the limit! Students will be exploring hands-on activities in our discovery of the mysteries of space. Campers will go on a discovery of constellations, planets and our moon phases. K Baker
Once Upon a Time
In enchanted lands where fairy tales reign, use your imagination and grow your brain! Students will immerse themselves in magical adventures in our summer camp that merges Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math with beloved fairy tales. From making castles high enough for Rapunzel to re-enacting the Three Little Pigs with puppets, students will take part in hands-on activities, including arts and crafts, that build their creativity and logic. Garden Explorers Camp!
Are you fascinated by the wonders of nature, particularly the enchanting world of plants and flowers? If so, then Garden Explorers Camp is the perfect destination for you! At Garden Explorers Camp, you'll become a true plant detective, uncovering the secrets hidden within every leaf and petal. From germinating seeds to nurturing sprouts, you'll witness the miracle of growth firsthand as you cultivate your very own plant to take home. But that's just the beginning of our botanical adventure! Prepare to unleash your inner scientist as we dissect flowers and unravel the secrets hidden within their petals and stem. Through engaging experiments and discussions, we'll unravel the mysteries of plant life cycles.In addition to our scientific pursuits, we'll also tap into our creative sides with a variety of plant-themed crafts.
