MISD Pre-K and Head Start pre-registration are just around the corner! The Head Start online application for new students opened on March 4th, and online applications for Pre-Kindergarten take place from April 1 – June 7. Learn more
Camp Descriptions
McKinney ISD is excited to offer summer enrichment camps, conducted by MISD teachers for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. A variety of fun and engaging camps will be offered for 5 weeks, June 3, 2024 – July 12, 2024. You do not have to be a resident of McKinney or a student in McKinney ISD to attend camps.
Fifth Grade Camps
Staycation
Make your school break anything but boring by exploring destinations around the world without the hustle and bustle of traveling. Students will get their passports stamped at each destination spot while creating fun memories with new friends. Minute To Win It Olympics
An action-packed and thrilling adventure where every minute counts. This camp is designed to ignite excitement, foster teamwork, and challenge young minds in a series of engaging and hilarious minute-long challenges. We will begin the week engaging in challenges and by the end of the week students will have the opportunity to create and plan a Minute to Win It game with a partner or team using a variety of supplies. Pokemon Art Camp

3D Printing and Design
Come learn the basics of Tinkercad (or expand your expertise, if already familiar), an online tool for designing 3D objects! Campers will explore how to design their own objects from scratch, how to modify existing 3D models, and be given a series of design challenges.
