Academic Planning Guide

  • Note: The 2013-14 Academic Planning Guide was recently updated. To ensure that you have the most recent copy of this document, please remember to clear your browser's cache.

The purpose of this guide is to assist McKinney ISD students in making course selection and planning their academic future. A variety of counseling services are offered at all MISD schools. Counselors work with students, parents and teachers to select appropriate courses that are challenging and meet graduation requirements. Catalogs, handbooks and internet sources are available to students seeking post high school educational opportunities. These opportunities include two and four year colleges and universities, vocational schools and the armed forces. Financial aid resources and workshops are also available.
