Academic Planning Guide

  • The purpose of this guide is to assist McKinney ISD students in making course selection and planning their academic future. A variety of counseling services are offered at all MISD schools. Counselors work with students, parents and teachers to select appropriate courses that are challenging and meet graduation requirements. Catalogs, handbooks and internet sources are available to students seeking post high school educational opportunities. These opportunities include two and four year colleges and universities, vocational schools and the armed forces. Financial aid resources and workshops are also available.

SCIENCE - Chemistry ALL MISD HIGH SCHOOLS
Dear Future Chemistry Students and Parents -

We wish for you to have great success next year in chemistry.  These are some of the basic skills and knowledge that will help you build a strong foundation on which to construct chemistry concepts which will make up the content of the first test.
We suggest making note cards to study the elements, polyatomic ions and metric system.  After studying, take the chemistry summer learning practice test and use the answers to check for understanding.

We look forward to you reaching mastery in chemistry!
