Taking Care of Students and Families
Supporting students and families through this transition is a top priority for McKinney ISD. The district is approaching this work with intentional planning, transparent communication, and close collaboration across departments and campuses to ensure every decision is student-centered and thoughtfully executed.
McKinney ISD has a strong history of delivering exceptional academic, extracurricular, and leadership programs district-wide. As students and families transition to new campuses, we remain deeply committed to ensuring continuity of services and support. We will continue partnering closely with families, staff, and campus leaders to provide consistent communication, guidance, and care so every student experiences a smooth and supportive transition into the 2026–2027 school year.
Our Taking Care of Students & Families webpage will serve as the central hub for all realignment information—including Districtwide Maps and Feeder Patterns, Student Transfers, Transition Guidance, Support Resources, and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and will be updated regularly throughout the transition process.
