Hard Work Pays Off at Competition for McKinney High School Marquettes

McKINNEY, Texas – The girls of the McKinney High School Marquettes dance team possess two qualities critical to success in any endeavor: talent and a tenacious work ethic. They leveraged both to their advantage recently at the Showtime International DFW Christmas Classic dance competition on December 10. The Marquettes were among 15 school and studio dance groups that gathered at Creekview High School in Carrollton for the event. The girls earned individual distinctions as well as high marks in a number of group dance categories on their way to claiming the title of Grand Champion in the Super Team Division.
