Among the representatives from Texas were four students from McKinney Boyd High School who earned gold medals for their outstanding entries in the conference’s STAR competition events.
McKinney, Texas - On Monday, National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) announced approximately 1,700 additional winners of National Merit Scholarships financed by colleges and universities.
Katherine Procter and Blair Walker, both recent graduates of McKinney Boyd High School are among those recipients. Procter has earned the National Merit Texas A&M University Scholarship, and Walker is the recipient of the National Merit Trinity University Scholarship.
