MISD School Board Names New Officers for 2016-2017
The McKinney ISD Board of Trustees named new officers for 2016-2017 and have chosen Bobby Amick to serve as president, Curtis Rippee as vice-president and Stephanie O’Dell as board secretary.

Boyd’s Rappold Earns National Merit Corporate-Sponsored Scholarship
McKinney Boyd High School senior Emma Rappold has been named a National Merit Corporate Sponsored Scholarship recipient. Corporate scholarships are awarded annually to National Merit Finalists who are children of employees of the corporation offering the scholarship, who are residents of the community the company serves or who plan to pursue college majors or careers the sponsor wishes to encourage.
