McKinney ISD is proud to present Grolier Online Resources for use at home.              

Click here to access the Grolier Online Remote Patron Enrollment Form , and access the form. 

Fill out the form and submit it electronically. Grolier will register the account and email a user name and password to the remote patron.

The remote patron then points his or her browser at go.grolier.com and, at the prompt, enters the user name and password. Grolier verifies the password and sets a cookie on the remote patron's computer. Thereafter, no user name or password is necessary to access Grolier Online from that workstation unless the cookie is erased or the institutional subscription lapses. Should the cookie be erased, remote users can download a new cookie using their user names and passwords.

Important Points

Remote access accounts may be established only for members of the subscribing library community, that is, for students, library patrons, or employees of a subscribing institution. Remote access accounts are not available to the public at large.

Remote users may register multiple workstations (home, office, etc.) to a single remote account.
