Teacher Grants

The McKinney Education Foundation (MEF) awards Professional Development and Classroom Grants to deserving MISD teachers and staff.

Awarding grants to teachers directly impacts the quality of education in McKinney. These grants give teachers the freedom to implement innovative ideas that otherwise would go unfunded. Grants also help teachers take courses, attend seminars, and engage in other activities that help them to develop as professionals and educators. MISD believes that an investment in McKinney teachers is an investment in the quality of education in McKinney.

Technology

Technology infrastructure and interactive learning opportunities are both key initiatives within McKinney ISD. MISD is committed to providing opportunities for students and teachers to interact with the global community through use of technology tools such as online learning and social media. All teachers issued an Apple MacBook unless their instruction program dictates otherwise.

MISD Childcare Programs proudly offers childcare for MISD staff families. Children or grandchildren of current MISD employees may attend any of the four fantastic childcare programs available within MISD.
