The MISD Secondary GT Dept. and the McKinney Gifted and Talented Alliance are proud to announce a special event for 6th – 9th grade students and their parents on January 25 from 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Collin College Convention Center off 380 and Community. Presented and coached by internationally renowned sports performance consultant and licensed therapist, Robert Andrews, Mind of a Champion is designed especially for our current 6th – 9th grade McKinney ISD GT students as an interactive, eye-opening opportunity for students to recognize mental and emotional roadblocks to their success. Parents will have the opportunity to attend an open session with Robert Andrews followed by their choice of two additional parent sessions. Dinner is provided and included in the price of student and adult tickets. The dinner is a boxed meal and includes your choice of a deluxe turkey, ham, or veggie sandwich.
