Purpose:
In order to improve the recruitment of quality teachers and to ensure the continued success of teachers new to McKinney ISD, we are expanding and further developing The McKinney Connection Mentor Program.  The McKinney Connection will include training, developing and supporting first and second year teachers as well as teachers new to MISD through collaboration between new teachers and their mentors.  Mentors will be trained to better meet the needs of these teachers and provide the necessary growth for their continued success in McKinney ISD.
