Roy Renzenbrink

Roy Renzenbrink has more than 30 years of experience in education including 17 years as a band director and nine years as an administrator in various districts in North Texas. He began his teaching career in 1979 at Carrollton Middle School in Carrollton, Ohio.

Renzenbrink has served as the assistant band director at Bryan Adams High School in Dallas, the head band director at Hillcrest High School in Dallas, the head director at Gaston Middle School in Dallas and the head band director at McDonald Middle School in Mesquite.

Renzenbrink began his career in education administration in 1996 as the assistant principal at Dan F. Long Middle School in Carrollton. He became the assistant principal at Dowell Middle School in McKinney ISD in 1999 and the head principal at Reuben Johnson Elementary in 2001. In 2002 the district named Renzenbrink as the principal at the newly built Wolford Elementary where he served in until being named the Director of Fine Arts for district in May of 2005.

Renzenbrink received his bachelor of music education degree from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio and earned his master’s of education and administration from the University of North Texas in 1993.
