Program - Little Messages
MISD Little Messages Preschool
 MISD
offers an employee preschool for children ages 2 through 5 (incoming
kindergarten) called Little Messages. Currently, Little Messages is
located at McKinney High School and McKinney North High School. The
hours of the preschool are
7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The program
has a certified teacher who also serves as the daycare director. It
is licensed by the State of Texas under the Department of Daycare
Licensing. Each site has a total capacity of 34 children, although
enrollment is kept lower in order to accommodate the needs of the
children in the program. Each site maintains a maximum ratio of 1
staff to 9 children. The preschool currently has a waiting list.
