2010 McKinney ISD Summer Mini Camps are ready to go! Parents may now pay their weekly Mini Camp or Summer Camp tuition online! Click on the RevTrack icon below to set up your account.
Mini Camps are one week camps designed for lots of fun, adventure and hands-on activities planned especially for incoming Kindergartners (5 year olds) all the way up through the 8th grade! With a wide variety of weekly themes ranging from Arts and Crafts, Dance, and Sports to Super Heroes, Slumber Parties, and Ethnic Cuisine, there will something to interest, educate and excite every child this summer!
Campers will need to bring a change of clothes and a sack lunch each day. A morning snack will be provided. Registration will begin on Monday, March 8th and continue until camps are filled. Space in each camp is limited and waiting lists will be maintained if necessary.
This year the Summer Mini Camp program will be held at Walker Elementary which is located at 4000 Cockrill Drive
McKinney, Texas 75070 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuition is $100 per child/per camp with a one time enrollment fee of $30 for one child or $50 for a family. Enrollment brochures are available now for pick up on every elementary and middle school campus and in our main office and for download on this website.
Registration will take place by appointment only at the Office of Child Care Programs located at 1434 North Central Expressway, Suite #103. To schedule your registration appointment by phone, please call Registration Clerk Kathleen Smith at 972-569-6235. To schedule your registration appointment by e-mail, send to ksmith@mckinneyisd.net The office is located in the shopping center on the northeast corner of Central Expressway and White Street. Once completed enrollment forms have been received, they will be processed and parents will be contacted by phone or e-mail to confirm enrollment.
The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office is closed from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for lunch. There is a drop slot on the door for late evenings and weekends if needed. Forms will not be accepted by fax or mail due to camp space availability.
