Dick Stevens was elected to Place 4 on the board in 2008. Mr. Stevens is a financial advisor with Edward Jones Investments in McKinney. Throughout his career he has owned several Maaco Paint and Body Shops, been a real Estate Brokerage Manager for Newmarket Grunnah Cole, a Real Estate Manager with Bright Bank and a Sr. Vice President of Land Development and Brokerage in Collin County for the Henry S. Miller, Co.

Mr. Stevens graduated from Kimball High School in Dallas and earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of North Texas. His involvement with the community includes serving on the McKinney Planning and Zoning Commission; on the McKinney ISD Long Range Facilities Planning Committee; on the McKinney Main Street organization committee and membership chair; on the McKinney Rotary High School Student of the Month committee and on the board of directors for the McKinney Family YMCA. He was named the Volunteer of the Year by the McKinney YMCA in 1997.

Stevens and his wife Lori have three children, Bart, Michelle and Robert. Bart is a financial advisor in Kerrville, Texas, Michelle is a CPA in Dallas and Robert is currently a junior at McKinney North High School.
