Keith Garinger

Keith Garinger began his career in education as a teacher and coach in the Danbury ISD in 1974 and has been an assistant principal, principal and assistant superintendent throughout his career. Prior to becoming the Assistant to the Superintendent for Administrative Services Group Mr. Garinger was the Director of Athletics for McKinney ISD. Mr. Garinger was an educational consultant of the Leadership Institute for school improvement with Region XIII and an adjunct professor with Texas Lutheran University. Prior to his position with Region XIII, Mr. Garinger was the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for the Seguin ISD from 2000-2004, the Principal at New Braunfels High School from 1997 to 2000 and the Principal at Jane Long Middle School in the Bryan ISD from 1992-1997. His honors include two Principal of the Year awards and being on the Dean's Roundtable at Texas A&M University.

Mr. Garinger and his wife Debbie, have a daughter who teaches in New Braunfels ISD, a son who is a Green Beret in the Special Forces of the U.S. Army and a son who is the starting center for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League.
