Wilmeth Elementary

Ms. Bragg has been delighted to have served the Wilmeth community for the past two years where the school has maintained an Exemplary status with the Texas Education Agency. Wilmeth teachers are true professionals who care for students and make learning success a priority. Being their principal is an honor. The students, parents, staff, and volunteers make Wilmeth Elementary a special learning community. Mrs. Bragg is happy to be a part of MISD where the focus is on student engagement and active learning based on a well designed curriculum. She is grateful for the technology and learning opportunities that are available to the children of MISD. Previously, Mrs. Bragg served in San Angelo ISD for 25 years with the last eight of those being principal of Holiman Elementary where she led the Title I campus to an Exemplary rating and also received the prestigious designation of a Title I Distinguished Progress School. Mrs. Bragg received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Texas Tech University in 1984, her Master of Education in Mid Management from Angelo State University in 2000, and Superintendent Certification in 2009. Mrs. Bragg's husband, Jim, is a retired high school girl's soccer coach. She has a son, Colin, who is a senior at Texas Tech and a stepdaughter, Savanna, who will be a Freshman at the University of North Texas. They love travel and college football. .
