Amber Epperson has been with McKinney ISD for nine years and has worked in public education for thirteen years. Prior to becoming the principal at Malvern Elementary, she served as principal at Valley Creek Elementary for two years. Prior to serving at Valley Creek, she served at Webb Elementary for two years as a fourth grade teacher, two years as assistant principal and three years as principal. She was a consultant for Region 10 and taught middle school for three years at Mesquite ISD. She received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University, a Master of Science in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University – Commerce, and a Doctorate Degree in Education from Texas A&M University.
