Fanny Finch Elementary

Becki Hoffman joined McKinney ISD in 2001. Prior to becoming principal at Finch Elementary, she served on the campus for five years as assistant principal. She was an Instructional Specialist at Burks Elementary for five years before joining the Finch family. Mrs. Hoffman earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Lamar University and Master of Education from Dallas Baptist University.

Ms. Hoffman began her teaching career in 1979 as a high school resource teacher in Kountze ISD. Prior to joining McKinney ISD, she spent five years as supervising teacher for the Beaumont State Center for Human Development Early Childhood and ECI Programs, two years as a third grade teacher in Brazosport ISD and 16 years in Cypress Fairbanks ISD in Houston. Within her 16 years in Cypress Fairbanks ISD, she served as a classroom teacher, grant facilitator and instructional specialist. As principal, Ms. Hoffman is committed to providing Finch students with an engaging and innovative academic environment focused on student learning. Mrs. Hoffman and her husband, Larry, live in McKinney. Their son Jeremy, a Texas Tech alumnus, currently lives in Houston.
