2004 SAT Scores
McKinney ISD high school students scored high on the SAT (Scholastic
Aptitude Test) in 2004. More than 60 percent of high school students
at McKinney High School and McKinney North High School took the SAT
test in 2004.
Students from MISD taking
the SAT test scored higher test averages than both the state and
national averages. McKinney High School students averaged a score of
520 in the verbal portion of the SAT and 524 in the math portion for
a total average score of 1,044. McKinney North students scored an
average of 512 in verbal and 521 in math for a total average score
of 1,033. The state averages for the SAT test were 493 in verbal and
499 in math for an overall average of 992 and the national averages
in verbal were 508 and 518 in math for an overall average of 1,026.
