Gretchen Madison

My name is Gretchen Madison and I am the counselor at Webb Elementary. I love the kids and staff at Webb and am excited to start my third year here. This is my 18th year in education. I was a middle school teacher for 8 years and a high school counselor for 6 years before coming to Webb three years ago. My favorite has been elementary! I love working with kids in the classrooms, as well as working one on one and in groups.

I grew up in Dallas and went to Bishop Lynch High School. I went on to the University of North Texas where I earned my bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I earned my Masters Degree in Counseling and Guidance from Texas A&M-Commerce.

I am married and have 2 sons, Zach is 9 and Zane is 5. We live in the country in Van Alstyne. I enjoy spending time with my family and watching their sporting events. When I have time I like to read, work in the garden and SHOP!
