My name is Christy Hames and I am the LMS at Webb Elementary.  I live in Whitewright, Texas, and have 2 children. Hunter is 16 and Hanna is 14- boy are teenagers challenging!  They keep me very busy.  They both play sports, are members of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes,  and are very active.  I usually coach Hanna's softball and basketball teams. 

This will be my 10th year in education and my 7th year in McKinney.  I taught 4th grade at Savoy Elementary for 3 years, and 4th and 5th grades at Burks Elementary in McKinney for 4 years before coming to Webb in 2005.  I graduated in December 2005,  with my Master's in Library Information Science from the University of North Texas.  I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Texas A&M Commerce. 

I grew up in Oklahoma and am a big OU fan!  I enjoy watching football and like to play volleyball and tennis.  I also try to ride bikes every once in a while, but find it difficult to keep up with my kids.
