This group will use library books and record their learning about what ladybugs need in order to live and observe the parts of the ladybugs and their function.

The kindergarten students will learn the parts of the plant, what plants need to live, and how we depend on plants.  The classroom teacher and LMS will work collaboratively during the two 30 minute research sessions. The class will be split into two groups with the LMS facilitating the learning for one group and the classroom teacher the other group on the first day of research.  The groups will then rotate the following session.

The Library Media Specialist will need to have the following resources available for kindergarten students to use for their research.
