One group will use library books and record their learning on the handout Jobs That Help Our Community.

The kindergarten students will identify jobs and explain why people have jobs  The classroom teacher and LMS will work collaboratively during the two 30 minute research sessions. The class will be split into two groups with the LMS facilitating the learning for one group and the classroom teacher the other group on the first day of research.  The groups will then rotate the following session.

The Library Media Specialist will need to have the following resources available for kindergarten students to use for their research.
