Our body is made of many different systems. These systems all work together to help us perform the many task we must do each day. These tasks include things such as breathing, digesting, and walking.

The majors parts of the circulatory system are the heart, arteries and veins. The heart pumps blood to the arteries. The arteries take the oxygenated blood to the muscles. The veins take blood back to the heart, which then releases carbon dioxide in the lungs.

The digestive system includes the mouth, esophagus, liver, stomach, large intestine, and small intestine. The mouth chews the food, the food goes down the esophagus into the stomach, it is then mixed with the hydrochloric acid in your stomach. From there it goes into your small and large intestine on its way out of your body.

The respiratory system takes air into the lungs. It puts oxygen into the blood and takes the carbon dioxide out of the blood and exhales it. The major organs in the respiratory system are the lungs, trachea, bronchioles, mouth, nose and epiglottis.

The Skeleton system is made up of the 206 different bones. The skeletal system gives you shape and support and it protects other parts of your body like the brain, lungs, heart and liver.
