Hi Tigers,

Before I came to Scott Johnson Middle School I was a graduate of DePauw University - 1992; and Master's of Education - Dallas Baptist Univ. - 2004. This year I am starting my 16th year in education with it being my sixth year in MISD. I previously taught three years at Malvern Elementary; one year as an administrator at McKinney High School, and three years at SJMS. Prior to coming to MISD, I was at Galena Park ISD and LaPorte ISD in the Houston area.

My wife is Jennifer Bennett - 9th grade Pre-AP/GT English teacher at Boyd, two children - daughter Morgan 11 years old and son Haden, 8 years old, both whom attend Wolford.

My hobbies include mountain biking, cooking and jazz.
