Hi Tigers,
Prior to coming to Scott Johnson, I was an Assistant Principal at Faubion Middle School for four years and an English teacher at McKinney North for two years. Before joining McKinney ISD, I worked for the Richardson School District as an English teacher. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and English from UTD and hold a Masters in Education Administration from Texas A&M Commerce.
I am married to Bill who is a school administrator at Denton ISD. We have three children who have blessed us with four grandchildren ages 7 months to 7 years. We enjoy traveling especially to Juneau, Alaska where our three granddaughters live with our son and daughter-in-law. We have two daughters. One lives with her husband in Omaha, Nebraska while our other daughter lives in Little Elm with her husband and baby son. Since my grandson is close by, we’re able to spoil him on a very regular basis. In my spare time I love spending time with our extended families, swimming, baking, reading and, of course, traveling.
As I’m entering my 23rd year in education, I’m very excited about becoming a Scott Johnson Tiger, embracing TIGER P.R.I.D.E. and celebrating our successes. I look forward to a great school year.
