Keep Cool In August!
On a previous mailout, we published the wrong date. "Meet The Teacher" will be on Tuesday September 9th from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Thank you for your understanding. It is going to be a great year at Scott Johnson!
Schedule Pickup - Wednesday, August 13th! 6th Graders: 8:00-10:00 a.m. 7th Graders: 10:00-12:00 a.m. 8th Graders: 2:00-3:30 p.m.

Student pictures will taken during schedule during pick-up times.
PTO Opportunity - Parents and students will have the opportunity to join the PTO, sign up for volunteer opportunities, pre-pay on the student lunch account, locate the student locker and practice the
PE Uniforms and First Day Forms - P.E. Order Form PE Uniforms are not mandatory but highly suggested. Students will have the opportunity to lock their items in the PE area during class.
First Day Forms - Keep an eye out! Students will bring home several pieces of information on the first day of school. Among these will be:
* Student Code of Conduct Book * SJMS Handbook * FERPA form * Scott Johnson Student Planner * Migrant Worker Survey * Residency Questionnaire
Students will need to return the blue signature card and the pink signature card from the handbooks as well as the rest of the forms which apply to them as soon as possible. They should be turned in to their first period teacher.
Volunteer Sign-Up! We need your help! Volunteer Applications 2008-2009 volunteers can begin submitting applications August 1st. Becoming a volunteer with MISD is as easy as a click of the mouse on your computer. Potential volunteers can register to become a volunteer by simply completing the MISD
