TIME: Night Testing Pre-Registration: 5:00 PM Sept. 5, Oct. 2, Nov. 6, Dec. 4.

Testing: 4:45 PM – 9:30 PM Sept. 6 & 7, Oct. 3 & 5, Nov. 7 & 9, Dec. 5 & 7.

Day Testing Registration: Every Monday (excluding holidays) 7:30 AM.

Testing: Every Tuesday and Thursday starting at 7:30 AM. You must call to set up an appointment. Tuesday: Mathematics and Language Arts (Writing). Thursday: Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts (Reading).

FEE: $80.00 for a five (5) test series, money order or cash only.

(Scoring, registration and filing with T.E.A., issuance of G.E.D. certificate) Test offered in English, Spanish. Special testing accommodations for those with Disabilities.

TESTING LOCATION: McKinney Learning Center, 2100 White Ave., in the Serenity portable building #12.

Parking is in the lot on the north side of the McKinney Learning Center.

GENERAL INFORMATION

1. If you are ready to take the G.E.D. Test, call 469-742-7800 to make a reservation for testing.

2. Must present positive identification with photo, i.e., Texas driver's license, passport, Military identification card or other Federal Government issued identification card, or I.D. and a copy

of your Social Security Card.

3. A 17 year old needs a permission slip with a parent's signature and a withdrawal slip from the last

high school attended.

4. Need to pass each test with a score of 410, and an average of the five test series of 450.

5. You must attend two (2) nights to complete testing. You must be present on the first night of

testing.

6. All tests must be completed within one (1) year or a new test fee of $90.00 will be required to

complete your G.E.D. Test. Test may be taken on any regular testing date during this period.

7. Retesting will be done at a cost of $18.00 per subject.

8. All GED candidates must pre-register for GED test. If you pre-register and

fail to attend, there will be a $10.00 additional fee.
