My name is Wendy Dickerson. I have been in education for 18 years. I received my Bachelors' degree in Education from Abilene Christian University in 1989. I taught first grade for 3 years in Arlington before coming to McKinney in 1992. I then taught second grade at Finch Elementary for six years. I joined the Glen Oaks staff in August of 1998. With great joy, I graduated with my Masters of Library Science on August 12, 2000.
I married my wonderful husband Eric in 1991. He is a Managing Partner for Kaye Bassman International in Dallas. We live here in McKinney and have two children, Abby(11) and Hallie(8). We also have a dachshund named Belle and a schnauzer named Buddy.

My name is Kim Oberlender. I
attended Oklahoma State University/Oklahoma City Division. I have been happily
married to my husband Mark for 14 years. We have two wonderful boys, Preston and
Carson that also attends Glen Oaks. We moved to McKinney from Oklahoma about 4
years ago and we love it here. There is no place like Texas! I enjoy spending
time with my family and friends, watching OU Football and scrapbooking.
My favorite subject/ book is Everything! I especially enjoy reading to my boys
I support our Glen Oaks vision by creating a warm and friendly environment for
children to grow and learn in.
