The fifth grade students at Finch have been working on a project in reading called Caldecott Kids. The fifth graders read 25-35 Caldecott Award winning books and honor books. They wanted to encourage students in 2nd grade to read these great books. The goal is to have  students read these award winning books and keep a reading log of the books they have read.  These books can be read to them by a parent or family member, by a teacher, or read independently.  Students who read the required number of books from the list will be awarded a Caldecott Kid Certificate.   You have until March 31^st to read the  books of your choice.
