2009-2010 Registration Process

McKinney Boyd will be holding registration on the following days and times in the cafeteria:

August 18                     9:00-11:30
August 19                     9:00-11:30

There have been some changes in the process, so please read the information below.

During this registration time, you will be able to pick up your registration packet (we will not be mailing registration packets home), parking permits, ID pictures, and a course request sheet so you can verify the classes you registered for during the spring. This course request will not show class periods and teachers -- only courses.

Class schedules will be passed out on the first day of school this year. As our campus grows to close to 3000 Broncos, we want to take advantage of every opportunity to make sure your schedule is accurate and that classes are balanced before the first day of school.  This process will hopefully create a smooth beginning to the school year with less interruption of classes.

Summer Registration Information

Attention Class of 2009 and 2010
If you still need to pass one or more sections of TAKS in order to graduate, please take advantage of our tutorials that will be offered here at Boyd before the TAKS Retest is given.

Attention Class of 2010
McKinney ISD has approved an option for seniors to have an early release or late start for those students who:
A.  Will have the required amount of credits needed to graduate in May of 2010.
B.  Have passed all sections of TAKS

The following periods are included in this 5 of 7 class period model:
1.  First Period
2.  Seventh Period
3.  Sixth and Seventh Period
4.  First and Seventh Period
