Principal's  Weekly MESSAGE

And They’re Off!

Welcome back everyone! Man, did that summer fly by or what? I want to be the first to acknowledge how excited I am about this upcoming year. Our campus is poised for greatness, and I have witnessed in one week what awesome potential the new freshmen bring to our already successful campus.

As we get the year started, it is important to note upcoming events such as our Open House, which is Monday, September 8, and our first varsity football game tonight at Ron Poe Stadium. While all fall organizations are beginning to get cranked up, I hope that community members will come out and support our students. I have witnessed early morning and late night practices, and it’s obvious these kids deserve our support.

Student ID Information

Any students who did not have their ID photos taken at registration have one last chance to do so on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 in the library. Photo times before school begin at 8 a.m., will resume during lunches, and will end after school at 5 p.m.

ID cards are required to buy lunch in the cafeteria, to check out textbooks, and to attend school functions, like games and dances.

Those who lost their original ID cards need to purchase a replacement for $2 in the library. Retake photos for the yearbook and portrait packages will be taken on Sept. 17.

Again, ID photos for those not already photographed will be taken on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 in the library. These will also appear in the yearbook, and the dress code will be enforced.
