Prior to joining McKinney ISD, Dr. Uribe has served as the
principal of Freer Junior High School in Freer ISD from 2003
through 2005, before accepting a position as the principal
of Freer ISD's Norman Thomas Elementary School for one year.
She has also worked as the Federal Programs Director for
Freer ISD and served as a school counselor for eight years.
She served as an elementary assistant principal within
Dallas ISD. She taught in Freer ISD at the sixth and seventh
grade levels for four years. Freer is located in South
Texas, between Laredo and Corpus Christi.
Dr. Uribe earned a Doctorate in Education, with a focus in
Educational Leadership, from Texas A&M University
Kingsville. She earned a Master of Science in Guidance and
Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education
from the same school.
Programs implemented by Dr. Uribe include, character
development through Character Counts, Capturing Kids Hearts,
State Data Analysis and Scan IT/Slug IT for AEIS IT,
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, Systemic Pursuit Optimizing
Teaching in Texas, and others. |
