McKinney Boyd High School has specific parking areas designated for students, staff and visitors. Students and staff will be provided with a parking decal at the beginning of the year that must be displayed at all times when parking in the McKinney Boyd Parking lot. In addition, there will be a designated spot in the front of the school for the Student and Teacher of The Month.

FACULTY/STAFF PARKING
All full-time teachers will receive a parking decal at the beginning of each school year. A designated area located on the northwest corner of the building will be the area in which to park. A blue colored line will be painted around those designated teacher spaces.  All decals should be displayed on your rearview mirror and will be turned back in to the office at the end of the year.

COACHES PARKING
All full-time coaches will receive a parking decal at the beginning of each school year. A designated area located at the east side of the building will be the area in which to park. You will need to enter the parking lot along the South side of the building. All decals should be displayed on your rearview mirror and will be turned back in to the office at the end of the year.

SUBSTITUTE/VISITOR PARKING
All substitute teachers and visitors are required to park in front of the school in the blue “Reserved” spaces indicated. You will not be issued a parking pass.

CUSTODIAL/CAFETERIA EMPLOYEE PARKING
All custodial and cafeteria employees will receive a parking decal at the beginning of each school year. A designated area located at the east end of the building by the football field will be the area in which to park. All decals should be displayed on your rearview mirror and will be turned back in to the office at the end of the year.

STUDENT PARKING
All students must purchase a parking decal at the beginning of each school year. A designated area located on the North and Northeast corner of the building will be the area in which to park. Students ARE NOT allowed to park anywhere outside of their designated area. Only vehicles with decals will be allowed to use the parking area. All others will be towed at the student’s expense. All decals should be permanently affixed (not temporarily taped) to the front lower corner of the passenger windshield.

TEACHER/STUDENT of the MONTH
A designated sign in front of the school will be your honored spot to park.

Parking Policies and Procedures

In order to receive a McKinney Boyd High School parking permit, the following MUST be provided to the school:

1. Photo copy of current Driver’s License.
2. Photo copy of current Insurance Policy.
3. Filled out an on-line Registration Card.
4. A parking fee of $50 for full-year permit or $25 for half-year permit (cash or check; checks made payable to McKinney Boyd H. S.).
5. A signed and dated policy and procedure form. The form must be signed by both the parent AND student.
